Accounting   

Murray Taylor prepares and analyses accounts for all types of businesses and charities including sole trade, partnerships and limited companies.

With the increase in the audit threshold a lot more businesses are able to take advantage of the lower levels of compliance required by a full audit. At Murray Taylor we still take the process of preparing accounts very seriously and therefore we aim to ensure that your accounts are prepared correctly and accurately without the additional burden of undertaking a full audit.

Once we are in receipt of the books and records we undertake a series of tests on the records and apart from preparing the accounts, we also look at ways in which the bookkeeping can be improved and make recommendations where necessary. This will assist in ensuring that the accounting fee is as low as possible for future years. Once the accounts have been prepared we will sit down with our clients and discuss the results in detail, the tax implications that arise from either the profit or the losses generated, and any other matters which may arise.

Murray Taylor can also undertake the preparation of 9 month management accounts which can assist in tax planning opportunities prior to the year end of the business. In addition we can also provide reports on whether incorporation is suitable for your business and also recommendations on how to improve profitability.
