Steve Taylor
 

Steve Taylor was apprenticed to Henderson Loggie, Chartered Accountants and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1984. He has a vast amount of years experience in accountancy. Although dealing with all aspects of accountancy and taxation work, Steve specialises in Tax Planning and Corporate Finance. He has recently worked on management buy-ins for companies whose net worth run into millions of pounds. Steve particularly enjoys working on complex tax problems offering innovative solutions. He is also responsible for coordinating the lodgement of approximately one thousand personal tax returns on behalf of the clients of Murray Taylor.

After qualifying, he spent three years with a small accountancy firm in Cupar, Fife before moving to the personal tax department of Ernst and Young in Aberdeen. He had a short stay with another firm in Montrose before setting up on his own account in 1989. In 1990 he met Tom Murray and Murray Taylor was formed.

Steve is married to Lynn and has four daughters. His interests, some would say addiction, are Dundee Football Club as well as playing football and squash. Steve is also keen on rock music and recently had the pleasure of attending a concert in Norway performed by the original members of Black Sabbath.
